How to ask for feedback from the community

It’s helpful to have extra eyes when creating your fundraiser. You can make it easier for members to review your page by creating a discussion that includes your fundraiser link with details about what you need help with.Here's some ideas:  Spelling and grammar: Is there anything that autocorrect didn’t catch?   Clarity: Is any information missing from your story? Is there any extra information that distracts from the story?  Convincing: Does your story hook your audience early on? Does it build empathy with your reader? Formatting: Is it easy to read? Did you use bold and italic fonts to make parts of your story stand out?  Imagery: Does the image help tell your story? Is it easy for others to tell what they’re looking at?  Title: Does your title describe your situation? Does it capture the reader’s attention? If someone does review your page, please let them know you received their reply. Otherwise they may worry that you never saw their response!  Want to help another memb

Telling your fundraising story can often be intimidating. One way you can help another community member is by reviewing their page and sharing your feedback with them. How to offer feedback: Tell them something they did well, as well as something they could improve on. Be mindful that someone may be going through a tough time, so please be kind with your feedback.   Common areas where people need help:   Spelling and Grammar: Look out for common mistakes like missing punctuation and misspelled words. It’s always worth having a second pair of eyes.  Clarity: Is it obvious why the funds are being raised, who they’re being raised for, and how the money will be spent?  Length:  We usually recommend covering the important details within the first two  paragraphs. Look out for run-on sentences or unrelated details that may distract from the story.  Formatting: Make sure it’s easy to read through the story. It can be helpful to call out any large blocks of text or missing headings. Im

Okay I have tried flyers donation boxes put it a friend's store. As well as posting it on my Facebook and Twitter account. I am not having any luck. Could someone take a look and tell me what it is I'm doing wrong.

Advice and Tips

Hello community..i’m extremely new to this and never have started a go fund me before. I need advice and tips on how to make my fundraiser successful as quick as possible. It is for my Pitbull to get treated at a vet. I made it today, and shared every where I know to. But unfortunately I don’t have a big social media. So without that it’s extremely hard does anyone have any ideas or tips for me?

We would appreciate advice about our campaign please.

Embarrassed to ask for help. I do not know many people either.

Hello Everyone,I feel I am in the same place. I feel embarrassed to ask for help. Before I started my GoFundMe, a close friend of mine suggested I should try this since I have exhausted all my other options. I considered this idea for a few weeks and prayed about it as well.I wondered if people would really want to help me. My story might sound different than most of other stories on here.  I am fundraising for myself due to debt, which includes medical bills from a back injury, student loans for my master’s degree, and moving expenses from Texas to DC area for work. I escaped a verbally abusive home environment to better my life.I set up a goal on GoFundMe, but I am not sure I will be able to reach it.  I am not big in social circles either; I do not even have a Facebook account. So, I am not sure how I can reach out to more people. And If were to do so, I would feel more embarrassed knowing that I do not even know them. I appreciate any help, suggestions, and prayers. 🙏🏼

The ad campaign ended with over 1,000 reactions (like, care, love), over 75 shares, and dozens of comments, but not one single donation… not one! Hello,I have had my fundraiser going for a few days now, I have shared it all over all social medias, emailed it to a ton of people and I've gotten a ton of “views” on my social medias but no donations or anything. My family is going through such a tough time right now and we're stuck 6 feet in the mud. I feel like such a failure as a mother because no matter what I do or how hard I try, I cannot get us out or any help. Please can anyone review my go fund me and possibly give me tips? I need help making it better.

I’m having no luck whatsoever with my campaign. I can’t share it with family, because they’d go ballistic if they knew about this fundraiser. My family is unsupportive of me doing this sort of thing. So I have no choice but to ask for help from the public. I don’t know how to make my story more appealing that people WOULD donate to my cause. Twitter is about the only place I’ve shared this because none of my family is on it. Can’t do Facebook-- because my family is there. Unless I was selective of my audience there. If I don’t ay this medical bill I’m going to go bankrupt. I’m not good at this sort of thing and I need help making it better.
