I set a go fund me for my brother and sister in law. They accepted the invite, set up their bank account and have started to receive the deposits, which is awesome. BUT, I keep getting emails that say withdrawals have not been set up. Also, if we log into their GFM account, it doesn’t show any activity at all even though they have received funds.
Hi, I’m Candice’s Dad, I have questions but Bot Ray is not helping my situation. On the GoFundMe Fundraiser that I created. It shows two separate accounts or pictures. One created 5 days ago, and one created 8 days ago. I think one must be deleted, but I’m not sure which one, or how to check and see if donations are pending. Another issue, is I need help setting up the GoFundMe account to my Bank Account. I have all Documents ready, I just can not find the portal to send or activate our account to start receiving donations. Can someone guide me through this, Please.
Hello everyone, I started a go fund me account about two weeks ago. I reached my goal and everything worked out. Except, every time I go to login to try to get my donations out because of the verification page keeps popping up and won’t send me a code to my phone. In fact it has a message stating, we’re sorry we cannot send you a code because this phone number is not within the United States. I need to get my money out because I am currently homeless and this money will help me get into a house. Please somebody help me! I have messaged go fund me I have tried to contact the owners of GoFundMe nobody has replied to me I’ve got no contact from the staff.
Three years ago I started a fundraiser for a friend of mine because he was going through cancer treatments. He was just told that he has 3-4 weeks to live. His wife withdrew money 3 years ago and people are donating to the fundraiser again but she can’t get into it any longer. I can, but it won’t let me send a link to her again. Is there a way to do this?Thank you!
HI I am raising money for my brother Tim, he is in critical care at Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield WI, he has been in the hospital for one week with stage three lung cancer and a tumor in his chest that is blocking the artery that returns blood to his body so he is all swollen up and has other problems they can't remove the tumor because it’s just not possible it’s to dangerous because of it’s position. His life is only continuing because of the tube down his throat that is breathing for him without that tube he will die. So my question is that every time I try to type an update on his condition the page always freezes up I even tried on my phone. Is this problem something other people are having it doesn't seem to be getting better. Thanks Keith Mortimer.
I was tasked with receiving the pament from the fundraiser. However a red notification tells me, that there’s an error with the payment info I gave - although the payment info seems to be correct. As I want to edit the information to reenter my details by clicking on the pencil symbol and then on “Update Bankinformation” simply nothing happens, I can’t even change the payment info and cannot proceed from here. I am very frustrated and there seems to be no option of receiving personal help by gofundme help center, sinnce the only option is a bot, that can’t answer my question.
So I noticed there is a section for the "Popular" GoFundMe fundraisers. Is there any possibility to do the opposite? There are tons of others (my family included) who deserve the opportunity to have their fundraisers noticed on the front page of the discover tab. How fair is it to continue promoting a fundraiser with $120,000 yet after days/weeks/months people are still struggling with no donators? Most big donations come from users that are on the discover tab on the gofundme app/website. There should be a page/tab for the lesser. Maybe something like "Get These Fundme Go-ing"? Promoting the ones that already have tons of donations are what break people's confidence and spirit... I don't need that happening to my mother.
So I was notified on july 31 and Aug 1st that my donations were sent to my bank and I am expected to wait 2-5 business days. Well that time has come and gone and I never received the deposits in my bank account. What can I do to find out where the $$ is? Is there a customer service email or someone that can help? It seems like I have the same problems as almost everyone else. My bank has been verified since Sunday and we it still says 0.00 amount to transfer over and there is no red flag or anything that asks me for more information. I sent it in for a ticket and my ticket number is, 10599320. We havent’ heard anything back and we have to make arrangements.
I started my “GoFundMe for a Friend” on Sunday. It’s now Wednesday and I’m not getting a lot of response. There seem to have been some tech glitches - when I share, I get a message, “unable to connect to Facebook” on my mobile, whether I’m using cellular or wi-fi - but the posts do show up on my Facebook feed.I noticed a couple of odd things: 1) It seems the only donations I’ve gotten come from people I’ve messaged directly, and 2) I made a manual post, and forgot to add the link. Later, I got several reactions and a couple of comments on that post. And it was at that point I noted the link and graphic were missing. None of my “regular posts” placed via the GoFundMe site got either.The posts have been split between the mobile and laptop interfaces.Does anyone have any thoughts or insight?Do I need to post my campaign link?Thanks for your feedback.
Hi! I have been going back and forth with customer care for some time and today have stopped accepting donations to my fund out of concern with the GoFundMe Format. Has anyone who had an Instant Verification able to have it successfully completed and how? I see Navy Federal is listed as one of the accounts but a customer care representative advised me “There are certain banks that will not work with instant verification.” I asked several times for a ticket to be put in and the representative refused. GoFundMe keeps wanting to see a bank statement comprising some level of security. I am prepared to cancel the fundraiser and reach back out to the donors. Has anyone had success or would it be recommended to cancel and use an alternative way to raise funds? This process has actually been disheartening and more complicated than ever.
I’ve tried resending it multiple times, verified the email on file is correct, contacting support, and it has not been resolved. I would prefer not to lose the money that has been donated to my fundraiser and be able to set up my transfers. And, I’ve been sent other emails by GFM, but not the email verification email. Any help is appreciated thank you
Hello! I’m very new to gofundme and 5 days ago I made a gofundme for my sister to surprise her to help pay for a huge medical bill she has now after she was in a serious car crash. I’ve shared my fundraiser every way I can but now I'm struggling. I read somewhere on this site that it was possible to make a poster for your gofundme by clicking the share tab and then clicking “print poster” but when I click on share the “print poster” button doesn’t appear. Am I doing something wrong or is this a feature on here that no longer exists? Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi I'm new to GoFundMe. I just made one to help my dad use my cord blood for stem cell regeneration as I'm pregnant and due to be induced in 3 weeks. I finished my fundraiser but it's still in drafts . Does that mean it's under review? I don't have time to waste I need $3,500 for the banking alone and I just want to start sharing it. Any advice/answers would be appreciated
Finally I’ve been going crazy for 10 days trying to set up an account it has me going in so many circles and I really need to get this money set up in my bank everything it tells me to do it does an offer there is no page for bank transfers when it offers me to set up an account it goes right back to the original page and this must be going on for a long time because I’m looking at other emails from months ago that are saying the same thing so this has been going on for a long time so how are we going to correct us for the money goes back to the donors
