Medical bills for brain cancer

New to gofundme. Started a fundraiser for my sister recently diagnosed with Grade 3 Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive type of brain cancer to help her with medical bills and treatment. I could use any tips and advice on sharing. Is it considered “ok” to share on friend’s profile pages on Facebook or is that awkward? Any help is appreciated. I’m her biggest advocate.

Welcome to the community and to GoFundMe @Cindy Baxter. I don’t think you’ll be able to share straight so someone’s Facebook page, but you can tag your friends on your Facebook page. This not only isn’t awkward, it’s important for getting the word out. For something like this, people usually want to help, so sharing regularly is a good way to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

We recommend trying to create engagement in your posts so Facebook surfaces your content to more accounts. I also recommend checking out this post about sharing in a quality way to capture your audience’s attention.
